Customer Reviews

"The burger patties are frozen patties. The chicken fried steak is the best in town I had to let the cook know how wonderful it was. Awesome spicy greenbeans"

- vicky l.

"Seen a video online about this place and its pork tenderloin sandwich. So we had to try it. It was a very fun and unique experience"

"Don't pass this up. We almost drove right by this little gem. I am so glad we stopped. The building looks smaller than it is. The staff is cheerful and welcoming. The food is large and delicious. Many comfort food options on the menu. We had the Jumbo Cheeseburger (1/4 pound beef patty), Crinkle fries, Pork Tenderloin sandwich (wow!), and Grilled Ham and Cheese. Coffee and Sweet tea. Ordered a chocolate cherry malt to go. The restaurant was very clean and the restroom was cute. Definitely will go here again next time we are back this day."

- Dixie N.

"The food was really good. First time visiting and wasn't disappointed at all. The burgers were really good and the curly fries. Definitely plan on going back when I'm in Grove again. Has breakfast options as well as other delicious food. Recommend trying it."

- Deborah L.

"Delicious food, but probably the smallest portion of breakfast I've ever been served and I ordered the most expensive breakfast on the menu. Not the cleanest place I've ever seen. They weren't very busy and still had to wait several minutes to get a menu or drinks."

- Richard's A.

"Really enjoyed Pistol Pats. This is an above average small town diner. The menu is what you'd expect and breakfast all day. The service was spectacular. Prompt, polite and cheerful. We had an omelette and a short stack. All was good. The pancakes were enormous! I'm not kidding here, each was the size of a large dinner plate. Might be the tastiest pancakes in Oklahoma? Also, this place is nice. Well kept, well lit and clean."

"Pistol Pat's is exactly as they describe on their Facebook page, "Family friendly diner, with a big menu from burgers to steak dinners, catfish and BBQ." Check for the specials on their Facebook page. Today was the Chicken Fried Chicken, which is one of my favorites anywhere, but my wife and I were in the mood for hamburgers. Two cheese burgers one regular and one Jumbo; both with the standard fixin's (FRESH lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle). I thought that we could split an order of fries. My wife seemed to think that I should order my own. To be different I ordered the Jalapeno Cheese balls. As it turned out the portion of fries was large enough for two people. We left a lot in the basket. I have never had the Jalapeno cheese balls. Tater Tot sized crispy coated fried balls of tasty, molten jalapeno flavored cheddar cheese. Unique, rich. Ok, so now I have tried them. Both of these sides were preprocessed and cooked from frozen. The burger patties were factory pressed quality, lean beef patties. Don't let this discourage you. Everything was cooked perfectly. I recommend the tasty burgers if you are in the mood for a burger. Better yet though, go for the specials. That was on everyone else's table in the restaurant today. They have a crab leg all you can eat special on Saturday night, which is a hell of a deal if you are a big eater. Checked the price of crab legs lately? The service was genuinely friendly and fast. This is a pleasant small town family restaurant, with a diner style selection of meals to please just about everyone."
